Eduardo Guerrero (Cádiz, 1983) is one of the biggest names in contemporary flamenco. He began training at the age of six under masters such as Mario Maya, Antonio Canales and Manolo Marín. He went on to graduate in Spanish Dance from the Cadiz Con - servatory and furthered his training in classical and contemporary dance. He has danced with companies such as Eva Yerbabuena’s, Rocío Molina’s and Javier Latorre’s, performing on prestigious stages such as Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre and the Guggenheim New York. Since 2011, he has pursued a career as a choreographer, with works such as Guerrero, Faro, Jondo and Bailar no es solo bailar. He won the Desplante Award at the International Festival of Cante de las Minas as well as the Lorca Award for Best Performer and was named ‘Cádiz Person of the Year’. Dance Magazine included him in their 25 to Watch list of international dancers. Described by critics as ‘Picassian’, his dancing combines refined technique, intensity and expressive power, making him an undisputed leading figure in contemporary flamenco.

Pino Losada, guitar

Diego Antonio Fernández Montoya (Madrid, 1983), known by the stage name ‘Pino Losada’, is a flamenco guitarist from the prestigious Losada lineage. He started playing at the age of six alongside his father, Diego Losada, and was raised in an environment deeply rooted in flamenco. Throughout his career he has regularly accompanied leading names in flamenco dance, including Joaquín Cortés, Antonio Canales, Farruquito, Eduardo Guerrero, Manuel Liñán, Olga Pericet, Patricia Guerrero and Jesús Carmona. He has performed on renowned stages such as London’s Royal Albert Hall and Madrid’s Teatro Real. In 2023, he received the ‘Guitarra con Alma’ award at the Jerez Festival. His style combines tradition and sensitivity with unique artistic flair.

Bienal de Flamenco de Madrid

The Madrid Flamenco Biennial was created in 2025 by Madrid City Council, under the artistic direction of the bailaor and choreographer Ángel Rojas, with the aim of strengthening the capital’s role as one of the major international centres of flamenco. The first edition brought together renowned artists such as Farru, Marco Flores, Eduardo Guerrero, Vanesa Coloma and Sara Calero, performing at iconic venues across the city. In addition to performances, the programme featured workshops, talks, conferences and masterclasses for professionals and the general public. Thanks to its ambitious artistic and educational activities, from the outset the Biennial has established itself as a leading event for the dissemination, exchange and international visibility of the art of flamenco.
